Availability in the spring to coordinate interviews/hiring of the Summer Recreation staff
Availability to work with the Finance officer to coordinate registration for the program in conjunction with the pool registration
Hiring and training of staff
Organization of the summer activities flyer in late winter and early spring

Job Responsibility

Cooperation with interested groups in coordinating city recreational programs
Plan and implement the general recreation program to provide a wide range of activities for all age groups
Acquire facility use permits to operate the program
Coordinate bus drivers with the school district
Maintain records and reports necessary to evaluate the use of playground, activities and programs to compile an annual report and budget
Perform other related work as required
Provide direct supervision of the eight week summer recreation program during June and July

Job Responsibility

Provide front-line support to members and guests in person, by phone, and via email
Respond to inquiries regarding fitness classes, facility usage, bookings, and general information
Enforce facility rules and ensure valid access to fitness spaces
Maintain cleanliness and organization of fitness equipment and facility spaces
Lead and perform weekly preventative maintenance on cardio and circuit equipment
Liaise with preventative maintenance provider on which units are broken/down
Arrange site preventative maintenance visits, and repair visits
Coordinate monthly cleaning of portable fitness equipment
Conduct regular inventory checks and assess/report equipment damage
Ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and well maintained
