Job Description:

The Recreation Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes encourages and registers guests for activities, ensures safety protocols, and maintains recreational equipment while representing the luxury standards of The Ritz-Carlton brand. This role involves guest services, responding to emergencies, upkeeping equipment, and working as part of a high-performing team.

Job Responsibility:

Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities
promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
provide information to guests about recreation facilities and activities
observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in emergencies
clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies
report accidents and unsafe work conditions to manager
process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales
enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems
perform other reasonable job duties

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Recreation Equipment Certification/Training required by local and state agencies

Nice to have:

Experience in hospitality or recreation
excellent communication skills
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
