Recreation Attendant

• Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities
• Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
• Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond in emergencies
• Provide cashier services when working in facilities that handle sales transactions
• Assist with group activities and private functions
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment and supplies
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
• Follow company policies and standards
• Read and verify information
• Use computers and point of sale systems
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds

• License or Certification: CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Recreation Equipment Certification or training required by local and state agencies

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
