Please note we have Day Shifts Available About the Recovery Support Worker Role We are recruiting for Recovery Support Workers to join our Mental Health Intermediate Care service, supporting adults in a time-limited placement to de-escalate crisis or support with other breakdown in their current support arrangements. You'll play a vital role in promoting recovery, rebuilding confidence, and supporting people to regain independence in a calm, structured, and supportive environment. You'll work closely with the Home Based Treatment Team and other Professional Teams to achieve positive outcomes for individuals throughout their stay at the service. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a small, dedicated team working closely with each individual to help them meet their goals and manage their mental health safely. The role will be extremely varied, here's a few ideas of what you might get up to: Supporting clients with daily routines and recovery-focused goals Providing emotional support and reassurance in times of distress Encouraging healthy routines such as sleep, meals, exercise and self-care Monitoring mental health and reporting concerns to senior staff Supporting clients with medication (after training) Accompanying people to appointments or social activities Promoting self-confidence and daily living skills Light household tasks and meal preparation
