At Via, our mission is to provide the best health and wellbeing support to as many people as possible, helping them to change their lives for the better. Last year, we supported over 11,000 people across the UK affected by alcohol and drug use. We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Practitioner to join our Harrow Recovery Service. Via Harrow delivers a full range of clinical and psychosocial interventions across the borough, supporting individuals and their families to improve health, wellbeing, and long-term recovery.
Job Responsibility
Manage a caseload and deliver assessments, structured interventions and recovery planning
Provide harm reduction advice, BBV interventions, overdose prevention and naloxone training
Facilitate group and 1:1 psychosocial sessions
Support access to education, employment and wider wellbeing activities
Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
Maintain accurate case records and follow safeguarding policies
Requirements
Experience supporting people with substance misuse or other vulnerable groups
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems
Understanding of safeguarding, risk management, CQC and GDPR requirements
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete within 1 year)
