Job Description:

The Product Quality & Recovery co-worker contributes to sustainability by giving IKEA products a second chance. This involves tasks such as stocking the Second Chance corner, repackaging products, managing spare parts to reduce waste, and improving the shopping experience for customers. The role is part of a collaborative team supporting sustainability and circularity goals while promoting IKEA's social and environmental values.

Job Responsibility:

Consider sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products
Represent Product Recovery, Quality and product safety awareness in the store
Support and perform Product Quality and product safety tasks in the store to improve the customers' quality perception of IKEA products
Repackage products so they can be sold as new again
Manage spare parts that are used to repair and complete products to prevent waste

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the IKEA product range
Good understanding of merchandising techniques and how to create a commercially attractive Tweedekanshoek offer
Good knowledge of the use of IT systems and other tools in daily operations
Good knowledge of functional areas within the IKEA unit and how they contribute to Product Recovery, Quality and safety processes
Motivation to work evenings and weekends as well
