Job Description:

The Product Quality and Recovery co-worker is part of a team that gives IKEA products a second life, contributing to sustainability and circularity goals. The role includes ensuring product quality, managing spare parts, and engaging with customers in the Second Chance Corner.

Job Responsibility:

Always consider sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products
Represent Product Recovery, Quality and product safety awareness in the store
Support and perform Product Quality and product safety tasks in the store to improve the customers' quality perception of our IKEA products
Decide how to give products a second life
Repackage products so that they can be sold as new again
Manage spare parts used for repair and completion to prevent waste

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the IKEA product range
Good understanding of merchandising techniques and how to create a commercially attractive Tweedekanshoek offer
Good knowledge of the use of IT systems and other tools in daily operations
Good knowledge of functional areas within the IKEA unit and how they contribute to Product Recovery, Quality and safety processes
Motivation to work evenings and weekends as well
