Recovery Associate

• Continuously respond to identified damages in ways that create advantages, minimize costs, and sustain product quality
• Support operational efforts by verifying detected product damages
• Safely operate machinery and tools associated with product recovery processes
• Ensure safe and productive flow of goods in the assigned recovery areas
• Complete all recovery actions in accordance with IKEA Standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

• Previous material handling equipment experience preferred
• Intermediate computer proficiency
• Skilled with hand tools
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Willing to be certified on counterbalance and reach truck
