Within this role, you will play a vital part in delivering substance misuse treatment and recovery support for individuals with drug and alcohol needs across Cheshire West & Chester. Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver substance misuse treatment and recovery support for individuals with drug and alcohol needs
  • Deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to people who use our service and their significant others
  • Manage a case load
  • Coordinate and deliver assessment and evidence-based interventions (brief and structured)
  • Deliver recovery planning and aftercare planning
  • Deliver structured group programmes
  • Deliver harm reduction advice, psychosocial interventions, needle & syringe exchanges, Blood borne virus testing and interventions, drug testing and overdose prevention advice
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ensure adherence with all Via policies and Safeguarding principles
