The R2R Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger (GL) through timely recording of financial transactions, performing reconciliations, and supporting the month-end closing process. You will serve as a bridge between day-to-day accounting and corporate financial reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and post routine and non-routine Journal Entries (Accruals, Prepayments, Reclassifications)
Maintain and update the General Ledger
Manage Fixed Asset Accounting including capitalization, depreciation runs, and disposals
Execute month-end closing activities
Perform Intercompany Reconciliations (IC) and resolve discrepancies
Assist in preparation of Trial Balances and preliminary financial statements
Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations (Bank, GL, and Sub-ledgers)
Ensure adherence to SOX controls and internal accounting policies
Support internal and external audits
Prepare Flux Analysis to explain significant variances
Generate ad-hoc financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R)
B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or MBA (Finance)
Experience with General Ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing
Knowledge of SOX controls and internal accounting policies
