We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in New York, NY. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a welcoming demeanor to manage front desk operations and administrative duties. The position will require in-person attendance and is expected to last for two months, with the possibility of extension.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors and ensure they are properly checked in upon arrival
Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner
Assist with general administrative tasks, including organizing documents and maintaining office supplies
Support mailroom operations by sorting and distributing mail
Schedule and prepare meeting rooms for staff and guests
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to uphold a welcoming environment
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with team members to manage daily office functions efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role
High school diploma or equivalent educational background
Proficiency in basic computer functions and familiarity with Microsoft Teams
Strong customer service skills and ability to handle inquiries effectively
Experience in answering inbound calls and managing reception duties
All candidates are required to undergo screening as part of the hiring process
