We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors and provide a courteous first point of contact for guests, callers, and staff
Manage a multi-line telephone system, directing incoming calls accurately and efficiently to the appropriate departments or team members
Respond to inbound phone inquiries with courtesy, gathering information and relaying messages when needed
Maintain an organized reception area and support smooth day-to-day front office operations
Assist with routine administrative tasks such as taking messages, tracking communications, and providing general office support
Coordinate call handling across a switchboard environment with multiple active lines while maintaining excellent service standards
Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role
Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with confidence and accuracy
Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-focused phone presence
Proven ability to manage inbound calls while staying organized in a busy office setting
Dependable, punctual, and comfortable supporting part-time reception coverage as needed
Basic administrative and customer service skills with close attention to detail
