We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in St. Rose, Louisiana. This short-term contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the daily operations of a growing insurance company while expanding your organizational skills. In this role, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks and play a key part in maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and organize paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Communicate directly with mortgage companies to facilitate clear and effective interactions
Greet and assist visitors, providing excellent customer service
Perform general office tasks such as word processing, filing, and faxing
Support team members by contributing to various projects and administrative needs
Maintain an organized front desk environment
Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately
Assist with internet-based research and provide relevant information to the team
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and other office-related software
Strong internet research capabilities
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
A minimum of one year of experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus
