Job Responsibility
Greet visitors promptly and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department
Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls, routing inquiries, and taking accurate messages when needed
Maintain an organized reception area that reflects a welcoming office environment
Provide front-desk coverage during a contract assignment and support a smooth handoff by shadowing current staff before the assignment begins
Respond to routine questions from callers and guests with clear and courteous communication
Coordinate basic administrative support tasks that help daily office operations run efficiently
Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role
Ability to handle a multi-line or switchboard phone system with confidence
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Comfortable managing inbound calls while assisting visitors in person
Reliable availability for a short-term, part-time contract assignment
Detail-oriented approach and ability to adapt quickly to a new office setting
