We seek a Receptionist who embodies a cheerful demeanour and can create a welcoming first impression for Softcat. A Receptionist is a cultural 'ambassador' who lives and promotes Softcat values every day. They always offer excellent customer service and create a great place to work or visit for employees and guests alike. This is an onsite role based in our brand new office in Aldgate, central London. The role is a part time role and the individual would be expected be onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Job Responsibility
Delivering exceptional customer service to visitors and employees from the reception desk
Being the first point of contact for office related matters
Assisting the Workplace team to ensure smooth running of the office
Handling incoming emails
Facilitating a busy diary of internal room bookings and vendor visits
Arranging collection and distribution of mail and ad hoc courier requests
Operating from the reception desk including front of house, customer, guest and vendor greeting
Assisting local departments and partners with delivering employee focused events
Supporting delivery of FM-related operational activities in partnership with third-party service providers and in-house teams
Assisting the Workplace manager with delivery of hard services (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)
Having knowledge of fire, health and safety, and environmental procedures

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
