We are looking for a personable and dependable Receptionist to support a seasonal pool facility in Stamford, Connecticut. This Contract position focuses on creating a welcoming experience for residents and visitors by managing front-desk interactions, overseeing entry procedures, and responding to day-to-day questions effectively. The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and comfortable handling a steady flow of guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
Job Responsibility
Welcome residents and visitors at the pool entrance and manage daily check-in and check-out activity
Verify access eligibility and help ensure only authorized guests enter the pool area
Answer questions about pool procedures, amenities, and general visitor information in a friendly and detail-oriented way
Maintain accurate attendance and sign-in records throughout each shift
Hand out pool passes, towels, or related items as needed and track distribution when required
Keep the reception area neat, orderly, and ready to support smooth guest service
Provide attentive customer support during busy periods while maintaining a calm and approachable presence
Requirements
Strong verbal communication skills and a welcoming, customer-focused attitude
Ability to maintain a detail-oriented demeanor when interacting with residents, guests, and staff
Comfort handling front-desk duties in a seasonal, high-traffic environment
Basic organizational skills with attention to detail for recordkeeping and visitor tracking
Ability to follow access procedures consistently and responsibly
Availability to work a part-time seasonal schedule as needed
No prior experience required
