We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front office operations for an engineering-focused workplace in Pennsylvania. Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors, answer incoming calls, and respond to routine email inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner
Maintain organized filing systems and prepare, scan, copy, fax, and distribute documents as needed to support office workflows
Enter alphanumeric information accurately into spreadsheets, databases, and internal records while checking for completeness and consistency
Use Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare basic documents, update logs, and assist with general administrative reporting
Monitor front desk activity and coordinate the flow of information between staff, guests, and external contacts
Review and edit routine correspondence and office materials to ensure clear, accurate, and effective communication
Perform general clerical support tasks that help keep the office neat, responsive, and well organized
Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or general administrative support role
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and clear email communication
Ability to manage filing, copying, faxing, and other standard office support functions efficiently
Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy when handling alphanumeric information
Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach
Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and maintain reliability in a busy office setting
Basic editing and proofreading ability for routine business documents and correspondence
