We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in New Jersey. This long-term contract position is expected to run for 3–4 months, with potential for extension, and will provide essential coverage while maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment. The person in this role will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also assisting with routine administrative support for the office.
Job Responsibility
Welcome guests, guide them through sign-in procedures, and ensure a positive arrival experience
Manage front desk activities by answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
Provide administrative assistance such as handling general clerical work and supporting office needs as they arise
Coordinate meeting room readiness by preparing shared spaces for scheduled appointments and gatherings
Maintain an orderly reception area that reflects an organized and service-focused environment
Respond to visitor and staff inquiries promptly, escalating issues when appropriate
Support additional office tasks assigned by the department to help maintain smooth daily operations
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or similar administrative support role
High school diploma or equivalent required
Comfortable using computers and standard office software for routine daily tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once while remaining organized and composed
Detail-oriented presence and demeanor suited to a front-office setting
Availability to work onsite in New Jersey
