Robert Half is partnering with a valued client in the Binghamton, NY area to add a detail oriented, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to their front desk team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. The ideal candidate is dependable and is able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and check in visitors, clients, and vendors in a detail oriented, friendly manner
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the appropriate departments
Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Assist with scheduling meetings, conference room reservations, and calendars
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document preparation
Maintain visitor logs and follow company security procedures
Support internal teams with additional clerical tasks as requested
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy office environment
