Robert Half is partnering with a valued client in the Binghamton, NY area to add a detail oriented, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to their front desk team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. The ideal candidate is dependable and is able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet and check in visitors, clients, and vendors in a detail oriented, friendly manner
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the appropriate departments
  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, conference room reservations, and calendars
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Maintain visitor logs and follow company security procedures
  • Support internal teams with additional clerical tasks as requested

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy office environment
