An exciting opportunity is available with a retail property management company seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting two office locations one in Miami Beach (33139) and the other in the Surfside area (33154). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working between both locations and supporting day-to-day front desk and administrative operations in a professional office environment. Parking is fully covered at both locations.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome visitors, provide a detail-oriented first point of contact, and direct guests to the appropriate staff or department
Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls promptly, transferring calls accurately, and taking clear messages when needed
Support daily front-desk activities by monitoring the reception area and maintaining an orderly, presentable workspace
Respond to general inquiries from callers and visitors with courtesy, accuracy, and a service-oriented approach
Coordinate communication between internal team members and external contacts to help ensure efficient office flow
Perform routine administrative tasks such as logging messages, updating contact information, and assisting with basic office support duties
Handle part-time reception coverage reliably while maintaining consistency and attention to detail
Requirements:
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role
Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with confidence and accuracy
Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented telephone manner
Comfortable answering a high volume of inbound calls while remaining organized and courteous
Dependable time management skills and the ability to handle part-time scheduling requirements
Basic administrative skills, including message handling and general office support
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and effective approach
