We are looking for a detail-oriented and welcoming Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Morristown, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, managing a busy phone line, and keeping office interactions organized and efficient. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for visitors and callers while helping maintain a welcoming reception environment.
Job Responsibility
Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, route each call to the appropriate staff member or attorney, and record accurate messages when needed
Welcome clients and guests arriving for scheduled appointments, ensuring a courteous and efficient front-desk experience
Communicate call details and visitor information promptly to internal team members to support smooth daily operations
Coordinate appointment-related interactions and provide general front-office assistance throughout the day
Keep the reception area clean, orderly, and presentable to reflect a well-maintained office setting
Perform basic administrative support tasks such as data entry, email communication, and document handling as needed
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer-facing administrative role
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and handle a steady volume of incoming calls with accuracy and professionalism
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and legal professionals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Comfortable performing data entry, organizing files, and managing email correspondence
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced office environment
Ability to maintain a welcoming reception area and represent the office professionally at all times
