We are looking for a skilled Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Menlo Park, CA. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and attentive experience. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, maintaining the front desk, and supporting the daily operations of the office.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff
Answer and manage inbound phone calls promptly while maintaining an attentive demeanor
Prepare and set up meeting rooms to ensure readiness for scheduled events
Perform general administrative tasks such as sorting mail and managing office supplies
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to reflect a well-maintained environment
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Provide accurate information to callers and visitors regarding company services or policies
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars as needed
Handle documentation and data entry tasks with precision and confidentiality
Requirements:
Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using phone systems and basic office software
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Friendly and detail-oriented demeanor when interacting with visitors and team members
High school diploma or equivalent education
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
