Professional and detail-oriented Contract/Temporary Receptionist to provide exceptional front-desk support at a client in Downtown Dallas. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive interaction while maintaining an organized and efficient reception area.
Job Responsibility:
Front Desk Reception: Greet visitors and ensure they feel welcomed
Handle incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate department or team member
Administrative Support: Perform general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and distributing incoming mail
Assist with data entry, appointment scheduling, and other assigned duties
Communication Management: Monitor and manage emails, correspondence, and messages for the office
Distribute information effectively to the right team members
Visitor Coordination: Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor badges (if applicable), and ensure front desk security protocols are followed
Office Management: Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and presentable
Coordinate replenishment of office supplies and handle light office organization tasks
Time-Sensitive Requests: Assist in organizing and expediting urgent, last-minute tasks based on office priorities and deadlines
Requirements:
Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment efficiently
