Job Description

We have an upcoming opportunity for a welcoming and efficient Receptionist to join our education community. This position will be integral in creating a positive first impression for students, parents, and academic staff while managing phone lines and administrative tasks in a fast-paced school office environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet students, parents, faculty, and visitors, and direct them to appropriate locations
  • Answer and screen all incoming phone calls with professionalism, relaying messages or transferring calls as needed
  • Provide information about school events, policies, and programs with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Manage appointment schedules for administrators and counselors
  • Process attendance records, student forms, and routine correspondence
  • Maintain security protocols for visitor check-in and sign-out
  • Assist with distributing mail, deliveries, and general office supplies
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, and maintaining office organization

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a receptionist or office support role
  • experience in an educational setting is a plus
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including effective phone etiquette and customer service
  • Competency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain confidentiality
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • additional coursework or training in office administration is advantageous
