We are looking for a detail-oriented and welcoming Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations by managing front desk activities, assisting visitors, and supporting administrative tasks. Job Responsibility:
Welcome and assist visitors by providing a friendly and attentive first point of contact
Answer and direct inbound phone calls promptly and accurately
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times
Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare them for use
Manage basic administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and distributing correspondence
Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information about the organization
Collaborate with team members to support office operations and special projects
Ensure visitor logs and records are maintained as required
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries efficiently
Requirements:
Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
Proficiency in answering and directing calls using a multi-line phone system
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with basic office equipment such as printers, copiers, and computers
Comfortable with basic administrative duties including scheduling and filing
Attentive to detail and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
High school diploma or equivalent required
