We are looking for a personable and organized Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and attentive service. This position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to manage daily tasks efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Answer incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, providing prompt and attentive responses
Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and friendly experience
Coordinate lunch arrangements and meeting schedules as needed
Organize and maintain files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy
Manage email correspondence, responding promptly and effectively to inquiries
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars to support efficient operations
Perform data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail
Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for various administrative tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless daily operations
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or similar role
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems
Strong customer service skills with a detail-oriented approach
Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
Effective written and verbal communication skills for email correspondence
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
