Job Description

Our client, a Construction firm in Richmond, BC, is seeking a Receptionist to assist with vacation coverage. Experience working at a Reception desk is required. You'll be responsible for answering phone calls and greeting visitors, managing high-volume couriers and ensuring the office remains well stocked. This role will last for 1 week and begin immediately.

Job Responsibility

  • Answers and directs calls
  • Greets visitors
  • Manages meeting rooms and organizes AV and IT requirements for meetings
  • Manages mail and couriers
  • Scanning, photocopying and collating documents
  • Ensures the kitchen is stocked and order supplies as necessary
  • Overall office, reception, meeting room and kitchen cleanliness
  • General administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in office administration
  • Prior experience in a reception role
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • High attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks
