Robert Half is looking for an organized and detail-oriented admin to join a small team in leasing in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a Contract position where you will contribute to the success of a non-profit organization.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or directing them to appropriate personnel
Handle incoming calls efficiently, utilizing a multi-line phone system or switchboard with up to 10 lines
Manage scheduling tasks, including appointments and office calendars
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and team members
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, creating a welcoming environment
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, or correspondence
Monitor and respond promptly to inbound calls, ensuring excellent customer service
Coordinate with staff to relay messages and updates accurately
Support office operations by managing supplies and addressing basic maintenance needs
Requirements:
Previous experience in receptionist or similar roles is required
Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems or switchboards
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in all interactions
Familiarity with scheduling tools or office management software
High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
Comfortable working in a small office environment
