Our client is in need of a receptionist to support front desk operations in Texas. The candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while helping keep daily office activities organized and efficient. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility
Welcome guests and direct them appropriately, creating a courteous and detail-oriented experience for everyone entering the office
Handle incoming phone traffic through a multi-line system, route calls accurately, and take clear messages when needed
Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries in a timely manner
Keep the front desk and reception space neat, orderly, and ready for visitors throughout the day
Arrange appointments, coordinate meeting schedules, and manage conference room reservations
Support office administration by completing data entry, maintaining files, and preparing routine documents
Work closely with internal staff to help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Assist with additional front office and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with accuracy and professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Comfortable managing inbound calls, greeting visitors, and handling multiple priorities at once
Proficiency with basic administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and data entry
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a part-time contract role while maintaining a detail-oriented front desk presence
