A luxury resort in Honolulu has an upcoming opportunity as a professional and service-oriented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. The Receptionist will handle front desk operations, answer phones, and ensure each guest receives an exceptional welcome experience.
Job Responsibility:
Greet guests, visitors, and vendors warmly upon arrival and ensure an efficient check-in/check-out process
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing accurate information about services, rates, and amenities, and transferring calls to the appropriate departments
Handle daily guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with a focus on outstanding customer service
Maintain lobby and front desk areas in a tidy, organized manner
Process transactions, issue room keys, and manage billing as required
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest needs
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and filing
Requirements:
Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk, or guest services agent (hospitality experience preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a proven ability to answer phones and provide superior customer service
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
experience with hotel management software is a plus
Professional appearance and demeanor
High school diploma or equivalent
