We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and providing essential administrative support. Job Responsibility:
Welcome and assist visitors, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel
Manage incoming and outgoing packages, coordinating courier services efficiently
Maintain accurate visitor logs and call records while issuing security badges or passes
Oversee the scheduling and upkeep of boardroom facilities and equipment
Perform various administrative tasks, including typing, filing, photocopying, and mail preparation
Ensure the office environment remains organized and efficient
Support team members with clerical tasks as needed to facilitate daily operations
Handle incoming phone calls, providing excellent customer service and routing calls appropriately
Manage confidential information with discretion and a high level of integrity
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize tasks independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
Previous experience in receptionist or administrative roles is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent education required
Familiarity with managing visitor logs and security protocols
Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with visitors and team members
