We are looking for an experienced and dependable Receptionist to support a contract assignment in Tampa, Florida. This on-site opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for visitors while keeping daily front office operations running smoothly. The role calls for strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a busy service-focused office environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome employees, guests, and vendors in a courteous manner and ensure they are directed appropriately upon arrival
  • Handle incoming phone calls efficiently, route messages to the correct contacts, and respond to general front desk inquiries with professionalism
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries to help maintain orderly daily office operations
  • Monitor inventory of common office items, refreshments, and snack supplies, and replenish or organize materials as needed
  • Keep the reception and common front office areas neat, presentable, and ready for visitors throughout the day
  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance such as basic clerical support, scheduling help, and office coordination tasks
  • Support a collaborative workplace by assisting with miscellaneous operational needs in a fast-moving office setting

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a reception, front desk, administrative support, or office assistant role is preferred
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach when interacting with visitors and staff
  • Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and handle inbound calls with accuracy and professionalism
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for routine communication and calendar-related tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented work style, dependable work habits, and a positive attitude in a team-oriented environment
  • Comfort working on-site in a busy office, including a pet-friendly setting with occasional dogs present
