We are looking for a warm, organized individual to serve as the first point of contact for an early childhood education campus in California. Job Responsibility:
Welcome visitors, families, and staff at the front desk while maintaining a friendly and welcoming presence throughout the school day
Coordinate student check-in and check-out activities, including support for morning drop-off, late arrivals, and early pick-ups
Partner with school leadership to assemble and share the weekly newsletter by gathering updates, photos, and other relevant content
Create visually appealing flyers, event materials, and digital graphics to support school programs, parent education, and staff recognition efforts
Assist with social media content and website updates to highlight school activities, announcements, and community events
Support family-facing initiatives by helping organize communications and logistics for groups, events, and yearbook-related activities
Contribute to outreach efforts that encourage strong connections among families, employees, and the broader school community
Learn and use school platforms, including Brightwheel, to help manage student and family information and related administrative tasks
Requirements:
Prior experience in reception, front desk support, administration, or community engagement
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a welcoming, detail-oriented, and service-oriented approach
Ability to work confidently in a highly interactive environment with regular parent, student, and visitor contact
Experience creating newsletters, promotional materials, graphics, or social media content
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Canva
Ability to learn new systems quickly, including student and family management platforms such as Brightwheel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain close attention to detail
Interest in early childhood education and enthusiasm for working in a school setting with children in an early learning environment
