We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to provide short-term front desk support for a property management office. This Contract position requires someone who can create a welcoming first impression, manage incoming calls efficiently, and help keep shared office spaces organized during vacation coverage. The ideal candidate brings prior front desk experience, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented, service-focused approach.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff members in a courteous and helpful manner
Manage a multi-line phone system, answer inbound calls promptly, and route messages or inquiries accurately
Oversee the appearance and readiness of conference rooms to ensure they are clean and prepared for meetings
Maintain the kitchen and common break areas by wiping surfaces, organizing dishes, and keeping supplies in order
Monitor and support the coffee station, including routine upkeep of the machine and surrounding area
Provide dependable front desk coverage during the assigned vacation relief period while supporting daily office operations
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk support role
Ability to handle a multi-line switchboard or high-volume inbound calls with confidence and accuracy
Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented phone manner
Proven ability to maintain organized, clean, and presentable shared office spaces
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a contract position
Comfortable managing multiple tasks while delivering excellent customer service
