We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This contract-to-permanent position requires someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through a variety of administrative and front desk responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and operate a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are answered promptly and routed to the appropriate departments
Greet and assist visitors and clients with courtesy and respect
Handle incoming deliveries and distribute them to the designated recipients
Prepare and manage customer invoices, including creating and distributing invoice copies
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support administrative processes
Assist with general office tasks, including organizing files and supporting team members as needed
Utilize Microsoft Office applications to complete various administrative tasks efficiently
Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and resolve issues
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role
Proficiency in operating a multi-line phone or switchboard system with 1-10 lines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling invoices and documentation
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with handling inbound calls and delivering attentive customer service
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team setting
