We are looking for an organized and personable Receptionist to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a Contract position in the financial services industry, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring all guests feel welcome and are directed to the appropriate departments
Manage a multi-line phone system, answering calls promptly and transferring them to the correct contacts
Maintain a neat and orderly reception area, adhering to business casual dress standards
Coordinate visitor access and ensure compliance with security protocols
Support administrative tasks, including scheduling and document management
Handle incoming deliveries and distribute them to the appropriate recipients
Provide clear and accurate information to inquiries from clients and team members
Assist with organizing meetings and conference room bookings as needed
Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Follow company procedures for vaccination and booster requirements
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or similar customer-facing role
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work onsite and adhere to vaccination and booster requirements
Familiarity with basic administrative tasks and office procedures
Business casual attire and a detail-oriented appearance required
High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
