Our client, a fast‑moving fintech company located in Manhattan, is looking for a Temporary Receptionist to join their team. This position will start ASAP and will operate on an in‑office schedule between the hours of 9am-6pm.
Job Responsibility:
Sit at and manage the front desk
Greet all employees and guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude
Manage visitor registration and entry
Handle heavy daily foot traffic
Assist with office manager tasks as needed
Serve as a first point of contact
Support coordination for high onboarding volume
Maintain a polished and organized reception area
Assist with ad hoc tasks and jump in wherever needed
Requirements:
Approximately 2+ years’ experience as a receptionist
Strong customer service skills
Extremely friendly, bubbly, proactive personality
Experience in a fast-moving or high-volume environment
Comfortable interacting with executives, employees, and constant visitors
Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
