We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist on a short-term contract based to support daily front desk operations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The successful candidate will handle incoming calls, maintain orderly records, and use Microsoft Office tools and typing skills to keep office activity running smoothly.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome guests courteously and provide timely assistance to direct them appropriately
Manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls, respond to routine inquiries, and route messages accurately
Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems to support efficient record access
Perform a range of front desk and clerical duties that help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Prepare, update, and format documents using Microsoft Office applications
Enter information accurately and complete typing-based tasks with speed and attention to detail
Requirements:
Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk support role
Strong typing ability with a high level of accuracy
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Comfortable answering inbound calls and interacting with visitors with attention to detail
Ability to organize files and manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently
Clear verbal and written communication skills
