We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support front desk operations for a contract position based in Pennsylvania. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a welcoming and organized office environment. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and confidence handling a multi-line phone system while managing daily administrative support tasks.
Job Responsibility
Welcome guests and direct them appropriately while maintaining a welcoming and detail-oriented front desk presence
Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, route messages accurately, and connect callers to the correct contacts
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to support office and project coordination needs
Maintain reception and common areas so they remain orderly, presentable, and ready for visitors
Handle general inquiries from employees, clients, and vendors in a courteous and timely manner
Support scheduling, document handling, and other clerical activities that help the office run efficiently
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or similar administrative support role
Demonstrated ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system handling several incoming lines
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with visitors and callers
Proven ability to manage inbound calls, take accurate messages, and prioritize requests effectively
Comfortable working in a part-time reception coverage environment if needed by the business
Reliable organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced office setting
