A leading confidential specialty healthcare center is seeking an organized and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join its growing team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key part in ensuring a positive, efficient, and professional experience throughout their visit.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist patients with professionalism and compassion upon arrival
Manage new patient intake forms and verify insurance information accurately
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to maintain smooth clinic operations
Prepare and organize patient charts and route patients efficiently to providers
Collect co-pays and other payments with discretion and accuracy
Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards for confidentiality and data security
Communicate effectively with clinical staff and providers to ensure seamless patient flow
Support general office administration including answering phones, filing, and maintaining records
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical office setting
Proficiency with medical office management and scheduling systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Compassionate, professional demeanor with strong patient service skills
