We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team in New York, New York. Job Responsibility:
Prepare and organize conference rooms by setting up furniture, audio/visual equipment, and refreshments as needed
Ensure conference rooms are cleaned and restored after each use, including returning borrowed items to vendors
Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen and catering areas, ensuring they are presentable at all times
Monitor and manage inventory levels for catering supplies, restocking as necessary
Answer incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and direct them to the appropriate parties in a courteous manner
Provide front desk support, greeting visitors and ensuring they have a positive experience
Handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, prioritizing responsibilities to meet organizational needs
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and high-quality service
Assist with ad hoc office tasks to support overall operations
Requirements:
At least one year of experience in office services, preferably within hospitality or catering
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Familiarity with inventory management and maintaining supplies
Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and proper organization in shared spaces
A detail-oriented approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and tasks as needed
