We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Goleta, California. In this contract role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or departments, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, and route them effectively
Maintain and organize office supplies, ensuring all equipment such as printers, copiers, and postage machines are operational
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating logistics for office events
Perform data entry and prepare documents or presentations using Microsoft Office applications
Coordinate with facilities management to address office maintenance or repair needs
Provide general administrative support to various departments, including filing, scanning, and record-keeping
Ensure a clean and organized reception area and common office spaces
Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance efficiency
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a detail-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with operating standard office equipment, such as printers, copiers, and postage machines
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Experience in facilities coordination or similar administrative roles is a plus
