We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth and efficient communication. The ideal candidate will have excellent multitasking skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Job Responsibility:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line switchboard system
Greet visitors warmly and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to provide a welcoming environment
Handle inquiries and provide accurate information to callers and guests
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an updated visitor log
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry as needed
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and workflow
Monitor and reorder office supplies to ensure reception area needs are met
Requirements:
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar front-desk role
Proficiency in operating a multi-line phone system
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Friendly and detail-oriented demeanor with a focus on customer service
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
