Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors, provide a positive first impression, and direct guests to the appropriate staff members or meeting spaces
Manage a multi-line phone system by answering, screening, and routing incoming calls promptly and accurately
Handle a steady flow of inbound calls with courtesy, clarity, and strong judgment when relaying messages
Maintain the front desk area so it remains organized, presentable, and ready to support daily business activity
Assist with routine administrative support tasks that help the office operate smoothly during periods of increased demand
Coordinate basic communication between internal team members and external contacts to ensure timely follow-up
Monitor reception-related activity throughout the day and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced office environment
Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or similar customer-facing administrative role
Proven ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system handling several lines at once
Strong verbal communication skills with a courteous and attentive phone presence
Ability to manage inbound calls efficiently while maintaining accuracy and composure
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy office setting
Comfortable working independently while also supporting the needs of a broader team
Reliable attendance and a courteous demeanor when interacting with visitors, clients, and staff
