We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this contract position, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and detail-oriented manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately
Respond to inquiries from clients and visitors, providing helpful information
Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming
Coordinate mail distribution and handle basic administrative tasks
Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and appointments
Provide support to other departments as needed with clerical duties
Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered to clients and guests
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience working as a receptionist or in a similar role
Proficiency in basic office skills, including handling phone systems and scheduling
Strong ability to answer inbound calls and address inquiries effectively
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and scanners
Detail-oriented approach and appearance suitable for a front-facing role
