Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a contract position in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable using computers, managing incoming communications, and keeping office workflows organized. The successful candidate will create a welcoming experience for visitors while helping coordinate mail, supplies, and service requests through the company’s work order platform.

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome visitors, manage the front desk, and provide courteous assistance in person and over the phone
  • Handle inbound calls efficiently, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and take accurate messages when needed
  • Sort, distribute, and deliver incoming mail to the appropriate departments or individuals on a daily basis
  • Prepare and coordinate bulk mailings and other outgoing correspondence in a timely manner
  • Maintain office supply inventory, place orders as needed, and help keep shared office areas stocked and organized
  • Use computer-based tools to enter, track, and update work orders and service tickets within the company’s platform
  • Support general administrative tasks that help the office run smoothly each day

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
  • Ability to answer inbound calls professionally and communicate clearly with visitors, staff, and vendors
  • Comfortable using computers and learning office systems, including work order and ticketing platforms
  • Experience handling daily mail distribution, outgoing mail, or related clerical tasks
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office setting
  • Attention to detail and a dependable approach to routine administrative responsibilities
  • Ability to monitor office supply levels and coordinate replenishment as needed
