Randstad Professionals is currently seeking a poised and highly organized Receptionist to join a dynamic department store team in the heart of Saint leonard. In this pivotal role, you are more than just an employee—you are the voice and face of the company. As the primary point of contact, you will orchestrate the flow of visitors and communications, ensuring that every interaction reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Welcoming and directing visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
Managing the switchboard, screening incoming calls, and transferring communications
Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail, packages, and deliveries
Managing and coordinating meeting rooms, including booking and logistical preparation
Performing various administrative and office support tasks for the team (filing, photocopying, data entry, etc.)
Maintaining the order and cleanliness of the reception area and common areas
Assisting with the coordination of office supplies inventory and placing orders
Managing general emails and responding to basic information requests
Requirements:
Fluency in French (written and spoken)
Intermediate English skills for professional interactions outside of Quebec
Proven track record in a receptionist, hospitality, or high-end administrative role
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Practical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail
Professional demeanor characterized by discretion, proactivity, and the ability to work autonomously
