We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, coordinating administrative tasks, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with office technology, and the ability to manage several activities at once in a service-focused setting.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome visitors and provide a welcoming first point of contact for everyone entering the office
Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
Coordinate appointment scheduling and maintain organized calendars for front desk activities
Sort, distribute, and organize incoming mail, deliveries, and lunch orders accurately and efficiently
Support daily administrative operations by tracking routine office needs and keeping reception areas orderly
Use multiple computer screens and standard office systems to access information and respond to requests promptly
Requirements:
Previous experience performing front desk or receptionist responsibilities in a detail-oriented environment
Ability to handle inbound calls confidently using a multi-line or switchboard phone system
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Comfortable working with office technology, including navigating multiple monitors at the same time
Well-organized with the ability to manage appointments, mail, and other administrative details accurately
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to balance several priorities throughout the day
