We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist for two-weeks to cover support daily front office operations for a financial services environment in Reno, Nevada. This Contract position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience managing incoming calls, welcoming visitors, and maintaining an organized reception area. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility
Welcome clients, guests, and staff with a courteous and attentive approach while managing the front desk area
Handle a multi-line phone system, directing calls accurately and efficiently to the appropriate contacts
Respond to inbound calls promptly, providing clear information and ensuring a positive caller experience
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-kept reception space that reflects the standards of the office
Support general administrative tasks such as taking messages, routing inquiries, and assisting with day-to-day office coordination
Monitor visitor access and notify internal team members when guests arrive for appointments or meetings
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or similar customer-facing position
Ability to manage a multi-line switchboard or phone system with confidence and accuracy
Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous telephone manner
Experience handling inbound calls while maintaining a high level of customer service
Comfortable multitasking and staying organized in a busy office setting
Reliable attendance and a neat, presentable appearance
