We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Boise, Idaho. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, handling administrative tasks with accuracy, and keeping office activities organized. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for visitors and callers while helping the team stay efficient and well supported.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome visitors and respond to questions from guests and the public in a courteous and helpful manner
Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate contacts
Receive, organize, and distribute incoming mail to the correct departments and team members
Prepare and send outgoing mail and coordinate daily shipments with accuracy and timeliness
Monitor office supply levels, place orders for administrative and sales materials, and help maintain an organized inventory
Arrange service and repairs for office equipment to support uninterrupted daily operations
Provide general administrative assistance, including filing and the use of standard office machines and equipment
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe reception area that reflects a well-organized office environment
Adapt to changing priorities, learn new tasks quickly, and provide additional support as business needs evolve
Requirements:
Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk support role
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and handle a high volume of inbound calls in a detail-oriented manner
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with visitors, callers, and staff
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage mail, shipments, filing, and supply coordination
Comfortable using common office equipment such as copiers, scanners, printers, and postage or mailing tools
Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a welcoming reception area
Willingness to work in a part-time receptionist capacity and take on additional responsibilities as needed
